The Elf-Fic Directory

Originally this list was created as a tongue-in-cheek Elf-fic listing, created mostly in the bold spirit of masochism and sinister will toward the fandom. Eventually it was found by painless_j and incorporated into her much more respectable thematic list project, the contents of which can be found here. That being said: only about half this work is mine, if even that much. So don't blame me.

What is accepted:
- fics where there's house-elf sex (cross-spices sex or just house elves with each other) are accepted by default.
- fics where there are original house-elf characters if their part is written in detail or if there's something really original about them.
- fics that show us a house elf POV.
- fics that has it as a theme or speak in particularly detailed way of house-elf social habits, psychology, history etc.

King Draco's code (what doesn't qualify):
- absolutely NO elves from other universes! No LOTR, no fairy-tale elves! They must be house elves of HP-verse to fit in here.

The Beast, by wikdsushi
(NC-17) "Months after Harry Potter fell in the final battle with Lord Voldemort, Severus Snape went into the Forbidden Forest... only to discover a world lost to time." Snape and Harry are confined to Merlin's estate, now taken care of by elves. They aren't house-elves 'cos they are free, but they are whom house-elves come from later. I think it qualifies, and it's one of the most original fics in fandom.

A Memory Found, by Mystical Dragon
(PG) "When a memory charm is lifted, Severus Snape slowly begins to heal from his past." I don't know if you'll find this fic acceptabe because Snape's family house-elf isn't a house-elf at all, he's a Dark Elf. But he plays the part of house-elf, and he's a most important character in this fic. The fic isn't a masterpiece, but it's OK.
